In the Municipality of Nessebar, 60 contracts were signed under the project “Nessebar for Cleaner Air”, funded by the Environment Programme 2021-2027. The goal is to improve the air quality by replacing old solid fuel heating appliances with ecological alternatives.
The project includes the installation of heat pumps, pellet stoves and high-class air conditioners, providing modern and environmentally friendly heating. The director of the “Directorate of European and National Programs and Policies and Ecology” at the Municipality of Nessebar, Galina Babeva, presented detailed instructions for the next steps.
“Nessebar for Cleaner Air” is part of the “Green Nessebar” strategy, which includes initiatives to protect the environment and improve the quality of life. The municipality calls on citizens to actively participate in the initiative.
