Critical water supply situation in Sevlievo

Heavy rainfall led to a rupture in the "Western water pipeline branch" in the Sevlievo municipality, leaving the city and seven villages without water. The State Reserve is providing nearly 121,000 liters of drinking water, and repair work is being carried out around the clock.

"The situation is being monitored continuously, and there is categorically no danger to people and their property at this time," local authorities assure regarding the Ruse region and the Yantra River.

Scale of damage and restoration activities

Social workers from the Social Assistance Agency are already visiting the affected areas to advise citizens on the granting of one-time aid to cover urgent needs.
