Start of asphalt paving in Nesebar after a large-scale water project
The contractor for the water supply facility replacement project in Nesebar Municipality has announced the start of phased activities for the restoration of street surfaces. The repair is part of the large-scale Integrated Water Project of the Burgas region.
Construction activities are being carried out in stages, in accordance with technological requirements and the organization of the construction process.
Which areas will be paved?
- The section from the junction at the "Lada" station towards Ravda.
- "Lyuben Karavelov" Street.
- "Otets Paisiy" Street.
- "Ivan Vazov" Street (after the completion of tests).
In the autumn, Nesebar Municipality plans complete repaving of the affected streets. After the active tourist season, the water and sewage infrastructure on "Han Krum" Street is also set to be replaced.
Why is this project important?
The Integrated Water Project, worth 22 million BGN, includes the construction of a new water reservoir with a capacity of 12,000 cubic meters. This will lead to:
- More reliable water supply for residents and guests.
- Reduction of accidents and water losses.
- Increased resilience of the water supply system.
Nesebar Municipality apologizes for the temporary inconveniences and urges drivers to exercise increased caution in work zones.
