The position of the Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health (MH) has not received any information regarding the suspension of BCG vaccine production, the institution's press center reported to BTA. At the moment, a contract has been signed with "Bul Bio - NCIPD" EAD, and all deliveries are being carried out according to the established schedule.

The MH maintains the necessary reserve of vaccines for children up to six years of age in accordance with the recommendations of the National Expert Council on Immunization.

Problems at "Bul Bio"

According to the protesters, if the WHO's remarks are not addressed, production could be compromised, which would limit the possibilities for vaccine exports due to strict international requirements.
