Active work on the case involving powerful GPS jamming equipment discovered in Sofia continues, the Ministry of Interior announced. Officers from the Sofia Directorate of Interior (SDVR) identified and seized an SUV equipped with professional signal-jamming components, which is linked to the investigation in the capital's Dragalevtsi neighborhood.
It has been established that the ownership of the vehicle is connected to the owners of the properties in Dragalevtsi, which are currently under investigation. As part of a joint operation between the State Agency for National Security (DANS), the Communications Regulation Commission (CRC), and the SDVR, a search was conducted at an address in the same neighborhood. During the procedural investigative actions, numerous technical devices, computers, recording equipment, weapons, and ammunition were seized from the site.
Investigators also searched a property in the village of Kapitan Andreevo. Technical and recording devices were confiscated from there as well. The Ministry of Interior added that, to date, numerous witnesses have been questioned and various expert analyses have been ordered, including technical, video-technical, and forensic computer-technical examinations.
