Temporary traffic restriction on Hemus Motorway
On August 25 and 27, a temporary traffic organization will be introduced in two sections of the Hemus motorway, located in the Sofia region. The reason for the changes is the planned installation of traffic counting cameras.
Drivers are urged to drive with increased caution and to strictly observe the temporary road signage.
Schedule of construction activities:
- August 25 (Tuesday): From 09:00 to 18:00 at the 6th km of the motorway. Traffic in the passing and middle lanes will be restricted in stages in both directions. Traffic will be redirected to the remaining free lanes.
- August 27 (Thursday): From 09:00 to 18:00 at the 61st km. Camera replacement will be carried out, with the passing lane being restricted in stages in both directions. Vehicles will pass only through the active lane.
The Road Infrastructure Agency reminds drivers not to undertake risky overtaking and to observe speed limits for the safety of all road users.
