Another successful edition of Tech Academy in Burgas demonstrates the exceptional potential of young Bulgarian talents in the field of digital technologies. The initiative, implemented jointly by AIBEST, SoftServe, and local administration, provided a unique opportunity for students from seven leading educational institutions to develop practical skills in software development.
In the three-week program, students from specialized high schools such as the Professional High School of Computer Programming and Innovation, PGEE "Konstantin Fotinov" and other prestigious educational institutions participated. The youth were divided into six teams, each including between 4 and 6 participants working on a specific digital challenge.
A key element of the academy was mentorship support from leading specialists in the technology sector. Experts from AIBEST member companies guided students throughout the development process – from initial analysis to final project presentation.
Deputy Mayor Stanimir Apostolov emphasized the significance of such initiatives: "This academy proves that Burgas has exceptional young talents. Collaboration between education, business, and local authorities creates real opportunities for local economic development."
The jury, composed of representatives from business, local administration, and educational institutions, evaluated the projects based on several key criteria. Three teams were officially recognized for originality, technical execution, and potential business applicability.
Marin Troshanov from AIBEST highlighted the exceptional importance of such practical initiatives: "Students demonstrated exceptional responsibility and team spirit, developing solutions that could find real application in the business environment."
Tech Academy is part of AIBEST's long-term strategy for developing digital skills in Bulgaria. The initiative not only prepares future IT professionals but also creates important connections between the educational system and the technology industry.
So far, the academy has been successfully implemented in cities such as Burgas, Stara Zagora, and Pravets, with each subsequent edition reinforcing its exceptional role in preparing young talents for the professions of the future.
AIBEST continues to work purposefully to position Bulgaria as a leading destination for innovative technological solutions and highly qualified specialists in the field of digital technologies.
