New opportunity for the talents of Burgas
The Center for Personal Development Support (CPDS) – Burgas has achieved significant success by securing funding under the National Program "Ensuring a modern, secure, and accessible educational environment" of the Ministry of Education and Science.
The project "Preserving Bulgarian songs and customs" will inspire 383 children to continue protecting our folklore heritage.
Key schools included in the project:
- "Mladost" Bagpipe Orchestra: Led by Stoyko Georgiev, preserving the magic of folk music.
- Vocal Group: Led by Milena Dobreva, winner of numerous prestigious awards.
- "Orthodox traditions, values, and holidays" Club: Led by Atanasiya Petrova and Dr. Milka Baramova, fostering spirituality.
What will be achieved with the 15,000 euro investment?
The funds will be directed toward purchasing new musical instruments, folk costumes, and stage outfits, as well as necessary equipment for the educational club. This will allow the young talents to represent Burgas at the highest level at festivals and competitions both in the country and abroad.
