Increased control in Sunny Beach
A specialized police operation in the "Sunny Beach" resort complex resulted in the issuance of 47 tickets and 3 citations under the Road Traffic Act. The checks were primarily aimed at curbing the illegal movement of electric scooters, bicycles, and other individual electric vehicles in restricted pedestrian zones.
The operation is part of the intensified safety and order measures during the peak of the summer tourist season.
Violations in commercial establishments
Parallel to traffic control, officers from the "Economic Police," the National Revenue Agency (NRA), and the Commission for Consumer Protection (CCP) inspected 10 commercial establishments. The focus was on companies renting out electric rickshaws and bicycles.

The main violations identified include the lack of mandatory price lists, incorrect price labeling, discrepancies in the dual display of amounts in levs and euros, as well as other inconsistencies with the Tourism Act.
