Temporary traffic restriction in the center of Sofia
Due to the "Gala in Sofia 2026" festival, the Sofia Municipality is implementing a temporary traffic organization. The restriction comes into effect from 3:00 PM and will continue until the end of the events.
The ban on the movement of vehicles does not apply to emergency vehicles and those servicing the event.
Closed sections:
- "Oborishte" St. – in the section from "Vasil Levski" Blvd. to "Dunav" St.;
- "11-ti Avgust" St. – in the section from "Moskovska" St. to "Oborishte" St.;
- "15 Noemvri" St. – in the section from "Tsar Osvoboditel" Blvd. to "Oborishte" St.
The restrictions will also be in effect on August 25 and 27, again in the time interval from 3:00 PM until the end of the festival. The event starts tonight with the participation of opera prima Sonya Yoncheva.
