A large-scale police operation covered Sofia, with joint teams from various police structures conducting a comprehensive control over road traffic participants. The action was aimed at preventing illegal racing and systematic road violations.
During the inspection, a total of 267 motor vehicles were covered, and the results revealed serious deviations from established rules. Inspectors issued 131 electronic tickets for speeding violations and compiled 15 official administrative acts.
Special attention was paid to the technical condition of the vehicles. Registration plates were revoked from two vehicles due to improper operation. A total of 85 tickets were issued for various technical and documentary irregularities, including tinted windows and problematic lights.
Among the most serious violations detected were two critical cases: driving under the influence of narcotic substances and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driving license. Three orders for compulsory administrative measures were also issued.
The operation confirms the consistent policy of the capital's police services to improve road safety and prevent risky driving in an urban environment.
