Schedule for washing transport facilities in Sofia
The Sofia Inspectorate is organizing a phased washing of key transport underpasses and tunnels in Sofia during the month of July. The activities aim to reduce dust levels and improve the urban environment.
Important: During the washing process, a temporary traffic organization will be implemented with a ban on vehicle passage during the specified time intervals.
Key dates and locations:
- July 12 (00:30 – 04:30): Underpass at "Peyo K. Yavorov" Blvd. near the TV Tower.
- July 14 (00:30 – 02:00): Underpass at "Slivnitsa" Blvd. near "Lavov Most" Square.
- July 17 and 18 (00:30 – 04:30): "Lyulin" Tunnel (between "Dr. Petar Dertliev" Blvd. and "Vardar" Blvd.). *Note: Night bus line N1 will operate without interruption.
- July 28 (00:30 – 02:00): Southern lane of the underpass at "Slivnitsa" Blvd. near "Lavov Most" Square.
On July 13 from 10:00 a.m., the storm drains around the Council of Ministers and "Nezavisimost" Square will also be cleaned. Drivers are urged to drive with caution and observe the posted temporary signaling.
