Another large-scale operation to intercept international trafficking was carried out by customs officers at the "Kapitan Andreevo" border checkpoint. On July 2, operational officers inspected a truck with Turkish registration, which was traveling with official commercial documentation for transporting furniture and textiles from Turkey to France.

During a thorough cargo inspection, experts discovered 13 large packages containing inflatable rubber boats with rigid hulls. The driver - a Turkish citizen - was immediately sanctioned with an official act for the established violation.

This case is not an isolated incident. Just a month ago, officers had caught 11 similar watercraft in another truck transiting from Turkey through Bulgaria to the United Kingdom.

As a result of the large-scale operation, a total of 149 inflatable boats and about 1,000 accompanying accessories were seized, including pumps, life jackets, and engines. The Customs Agency continues its active cooperation with British law enforcement institutions to fully prevent this illegal trafficking.
