Tragic toll on the road: New victims in accidents
A difficult day on the country's roads. According to data from the Ministry of Interior (MoI), 15 serious road traffic accidents occurred over the past 24 hours, in which three people lost their lives and 17 others were injured with varying degrees of severity.
The statistics since the beginning of 2026 are alarming – 218 people have died in accidents, compared to 183 for the same period of the previous year, 2025.
Rise in fatal incidents

- Total number of injured for 2026: 3,673 people.
MoI data shows an increase of 35 more deaths compared to the same period last year. Road safety experts are once again urging drivers to exercise increased caution, maintain distance, and strictly follow traffic rules.
