An official order from the agency introduces unprecedented restrictions for agricultural farmers from July 10 to September 1, 2025. The ban covers all machine activities related to mowing, cleaning, and mulching between 08:00 and 03:00 in the morning.

The specific fire prevention measures are dictated by the extremely high risk of fire occurrence. The statistics of the General Directorate "Fire Safety" report over 250 fire sites daily in agricultural and forest territories during the last week.

An exception to the general ban is allowed only for protected zones under the Natura 2000 program, where manual or slow mechanized mowing is permitted between 20:00 and 08:00.

Failure to comply with the regulation will result in agricultural farmers being sanctioned with monetary fines or property sanctions by the directors of regional agricultural directorates.
