Situation at border crossings as of 6:00 a.m.
As of the morning hours of the day, increased traffic is reported at some of Bulgaria's main border crossing points (BCP). The information is provided by the General Directorate "Border Police".
Traffic is intensive for outgoing passenger cars at "Kapitan Andreevo" (Turkey) and for incoming passenger cars at "Kalotina" (Serbia).
Important updates for border crossings along the Danube River:
- Ruse – Giurgiu: Traffic on the Danube Bridge has been fully restored in both lanes following repairs.
- Oryahovo – Bechet: The ferry connection is suspended due to low water levels in the Danube River.
- Svishtov – Zimnicea: The ferry connection is also not operating due to low water levels in the river.
Borders with Greece and North Macedonia:
Traffic at all border points with Greece and the Republic of North Macedonia is proceeding normally. We remind you that only passenger cars and vans up to 3.5 tons can pass through "Rudozem", "Zlatograd", "Makaza", and "Ivaylovgrad".
