Current traffic at border crossings
Intensive traffic for cars is reported at the "Kalotina" border checkpoint on the border with Serbia. There are also queues and increased movement at the entry and exit points on the border with Turkey via the "Kapitan Andreevo" border checkpoint, according to the Border Police.
What is the situation at the other borders?
On the border with Greece, traffic is currently completely normal at all border crossings.
- Checkpoints for cars (up to 3.5 tons): "Rudozem", "Zlatograd", "Makaza", and "Ivaylovgrad" are operating without difficulties.
- Checkpoints for all types of vehicles: Cars, buses, and trucks are passing through "Ilinden", "Kulata", and "Kapitan Petko Voyvoda".
Border crossings with Romania and North Macedonia
Travelers can be at ease, as traffic is completely normal at all border crossings with Romania, as well as at all checkpoints along the border with the Republic of North Macedonia.
