In a time of wars, uncertainty and confrontation, which is destroying the international order, the voice of us, women and mothers – a voice that calls for reason, peace and dialogue, must be heard strongly. This was written by President Iliana Yotova on the occasion of International Women's Day – March 8, published on her Facebook profile.
In her greeting, she sends wishes to Bulgarian women to be healthy, to carry light and inspiration, energy and ambition, and to be proud of everything they achieve every day – both in their profession, as well as in their family and among their friends.
Yotova calls on women not to be afraid to stand up for their rights and to dream boldly. "Remember what it's like to give birth to a child! Give it a future," she also writes in the president's message.
