HIV/AIDS: A new section in "eHealth" and an anti-stigma campaign

The Ministry of Health is launching an HIV section in "eHealth". Learn how the virus is transmitted, where to get tested for free, and how to fight stigma.

New information about HIV/AIDS in the "eHealth" app

On the occasion of the Day of Solidarity with those affected by HIV/AIDS, the Ministry of Health is introducing a specialized section in the "Health Library" of the "eHealth" mobile application. The goal is to provide access to verified information about the virus.

The motto of this year's Day of Solidarity is: "Don't say that! Words leave marks."

The section covers key topics such as:

National ANTI-AIDS campaign

This year, the campaign focuses on the language society uses. On May 17, regional health inspections in the country's 28 districts, together with the Bulgarian Red Cross, will hold awareness-raising initiatives. The face of the campaign is the performer Azis.

Focus on viral hepatitis

In parallel, the government has adopted a National Program for the Prevention of Viral Hepatitis for the period 2026-2030. It aims to limit the spread and improve early diagnosis.
