The nature conservation association "Sea Friends - Burgas" is preparing its next large-scale ecological campaign aimed at restoring the fish population in Lake Mandren. On July 9, 2025, volunteers will implement a large-scale restocking project, during which four thousand small carp will be released into the waters.
The initiative will be carried out under the strict professional supervision of the Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture. The main strategic goal of the event is to improve fish stocks and create a more favorable environment for fishermen from the Burgas region and the entire country.
Lake Mandren, which is traditionally used as a favorite place for fishermen, will receive a significant biological impulse through the introduction of new specimens. The activity demonstrates consistent efforts to preserve and restore the local aquatic ecosystem.
