Water Safety for Children: The Mission of Burgas Municipality

For the second consecutive year, Burgas Municipality is making accident prevention a top priority through its Water Safety Training Program. The initiative, spearheaded by municipal councilor Vasil Zagorchev, aims to build sustainable habits in the youngest members of our community.

The safety of children is a responsibility that begins with education and a proper understanding of risks.

How did the training take place?

The program not only teaches children how to swim, but also how to recognize dangers, obey lifeguard flags, and seek help in a timely manner.

Why is this initiative important?

With over 2,300 children trained last year, Burgas Municipality continues to expand its reach, solidifying its position as a leader in the prevention of water accidents among the youth.
