The army is helping in the fight against the wildfire near Haskovo
An AS 532 AL Cougar helicopter with a crew from the 24th Air Base in Krumovo joined the efforts to extinguish the large fire burning near the village of Dinevo, Haskovo Municipality, the Ministry of Defense announced. The aircraft took off at 16:55 to assist the ground crews.
The fire has also affected the territory of the "Koren" Training Range.
17 military personnel with four pieces of specialized equipment from the Land Forces are working on the ground, making efforts to contain the fire in the area of the training range.

- Location: The lands of the villages of Dinevo, Lyubenovo, and Krivo Pole.
- Cause: According to initial information, the fire started at the Dinevo village landfill.
- Scope: Primarily dry grass is burning. The nearby forest area currently remains unaffected.
