The Regional Headquarters for Combating Influenza in Burgas will meet today to assess whether to extend the flu epidemic in the region. The measures against the infection are in effect until January 30. According to the latest data, Burgas region has the most patients in the country - 319 people per 10,000 population. The most affected are children aged 5 to 14 years. As of yesterday, Plovdiv region is also in a flu epidemic. Children there will study remotely until February 6. 4 regions in the country are in a pre-epidemic situation – Sliven, Targovishte, Pleven and Montana.
