A fire broke out near the Asenovgrad – Kardzhali road
There is currently no danger of the fire spreading to populated areas, the Plovdiv fire department reported. The alert for the incident was received shortly after 12:00 PM today.
The flames have engulfed dry grass and old vineyards in the area.
- Four firefighting teams from Asenovgrad and Plovdiv have been mobilized on site.
- Traffic in the affected section is restricted due to the work of the emergency services.
The teams continue to work on bringing the situation under full control.
