The trend in the Bulgarian fitness sector is changing rapidly – online training platforms, smart fitness equipment and health monitoring applications dominate the market. Leading chains and independent trainers offer hybrid programs: "The digital environment gives access to over 4 million active users, with motivation and adherence to regimes being tracked individually," comment experts from the sector.

The integration of wellness initiatives in the workplace is a new leading focus – over 70% of corporate employers are introducing programs for relaxation, sports diaries, group activities, and preventive medical check-ups for their employees. Special attention is paid to mental health through mobile stress management applications.

The sector is seeing a rise in new fitness clubs, wellness centers and bio-bars, and the organizers of sporting events are attracting a record number of participants: mass marathons, city bike rides and yoga and Pilates activities outdoors. The Bulgarian Fitness Association reports a growth of over 22% year-on-year in the number of registered exercisers.

The health sector supports the initiatives through prevention campaigns, informational events on balanced nutrition and investments in smart gyms. "Self-aware physical activity is the key to longevity, innovative home workout products and personal performance analysis are the future in the wellness industry," state from the national association.

Trends indicate a permanent shift towards a digital, integrated and socially oriented physical culture that engages all generations and provides a healthier and more sustainable environment.
