The conservation brigade "Pomorie Lake" demonstrates a unique approach to ecological volunteering, which permanently changes the perception of nature conservation activities. For more than a quarter of a century, the organization "Green Balkans" attracts volunteers through an innovative engagement model.
The new conceptual format of "sustainable vacations" offers a comprehensive experience that combines nature conservation activities with quality leisure. Participants have the opportunity to contribute to the preservation of critically important habitats of migratory birds, including protected colonies of terns.
The initiative, launched in July 2025, is implemented under the patronage of the large-scale campaign "Mapping Sustainable Holidays in Bulgaria". Financial support from the Bulgarian Women's Fund further enhances the significance of the project in the field of eco-tourism and socially responsible volunteering.
