The National Fire Service reported an extremely tense period with a total of 172 extinguished fires, which caused serious tension among rescue teams. The official statistics, published by the Main Directorate "Fire Safety and Population Protection", reveal alarming details about the scale of the incidents.

Out of the total number of fires, 23 were accompanied by direct material damage, which affected various types of buildings and facilities. The distribution includes 11 residential properties, one industrial facility, three forest areas, three vehicles, one agricultural facility, and one open terrain.

The most dramatic case was recorded in the town of Troyan, where an 80-year-old man was injured in a fire caused by a technical malfunction - a short circuit in the electrical installation. Rescue teams have carried out a total of 25 operations to control and localize the fire sources.

The statistics also note 149 fires without direct material damage, which shows the high efficiency of fire services. An additional challenge were the 12 false calls that distract the attention of rescue teams.
