A New Era in Music Education in Burgas
The National School of Music and Performing Arts (NUMSI) "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" in Burgas begins the 2026/2027 school year with historic developments. The school is opening its doors for harp instruction, led by Lora Panosyan, and is reinstating the French horn specialty with instructor Toma Dimitrov after a decade-long hiatus.
"The return of established talents as teachers is a sign of continuity and quality," the school's management shares.
An Opportunity for Future Sound Engineers
The innovations do not stop there. The Free School of Arts at the "Rodni Zvutsi" School Board is launching training in sound engineering, accessible to all students in the city. The program is designed for young people with an affinity for:
- Music technology
- Professional sound recording
- Stage productions
This course gives young talents the chance to master modern and highly sought-after skills under the mentorship of a certified specialist from the National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov".
Returning Home
An impressive fact is that all three new teachers are alumni of NUMSI. Their return is not only a professional challenge but also a cause – to pass on their experience and love for art to the next generation of artists in Burgas.
