The municipal administration of Burgas has announced an official schedule for phased contract signing with households that have applied to replace outdated heating systems. The initiative aims to radically improve the ecological situation in the region through modernization of household heating.
From August 11 to 30, 2025, the contracting process will be carried out in the offices where the applications were initially submitted. An important condition for participation is that households must have used wood or coal stoves for at least one year before applying.
The approval criteria include a point system - candidates who have received between 3 and 14 points inclusive are eligible. Special attention has been given to participants from the first intake between January 6 and March 31, 2025, who have received 3 or 4 points.
When signing the contracts, it is mandatory to bring an identity card and the registration number of the original application. The municipality has designated three main service locations:
1. Central Front Office at 26 Aleksandrovska Street with working hours from 8:30 to 17:15;
2. CAU "Vazrazhdane" next to block 426 with extended working hours;
3. CAU "Dolno Ezerovo" at 75D Zahari Zograf Street with an identical schedule.
The next stages of the program provide for a new application intake from September 1 to November 30, 2025, with subsequent ranking and contracting in December. August is reserved entirely for servicing already approved candidates.
