The UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission published shocking statistics on the consequences of the military conflict in Ukraine, outlining the scale of the humanitarian crisis. The report, officially presented on July 10, 2025, reveals extremely alarming trends in civilian casualties.

The documented data shows that a total of 232 killed and 1,343 wounded civilians were registered in the past month. This result represents a tenfold increase in damages compared to the same period in 2024, which calls into question the basic security of the civilian population.

The geography of destruction covers practically the entire territory of Ukraine - residents in at least 16 regions, including the capital Kyiv, have been affected. The most affected regions are Dnipro, Kyiv, and Kharkiv, where precise strikes cause mass casualties in single incidents.

UN experts categorically link the escalation of damage to the use of high-precision long-range missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles by the Russian side. Over 53% of the victims are the result of direct missile strikes on urbanized territories, with exceptional precision in target selection.

Additional concern is caused by the massive use of FPV drones, which attack not only military targets but also specific citizens, vehicles, and infrastructure. The most seriously affected are the front-line areas in Kherson and Donetsk regions.

The cumulative statistics from the beginning of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, are extremely shocking - 13,580 documented civilian deaths, including 716 children, and 34,115 wounded, including 2,173 children. It is noteworthy that 98% of the victims were registered in territories under the control of the Ukrainian government.

The UN report is an impartial and detailed analysis that unambiguously demonstrates the scale of the humanitarian catastrophe in the region.
