"The flowers on our station carry a message - we grow beauty in distant places, filled with coldness, not because we have to, but because we insist that we must"
What is the FlorAstra project?
The FlorAstra project ("Flowers of the Stars") is a large-scale concept for a space colony in orbit around the planet Ceres. Key highlights of the project include:
- Creating a fully closed ecosystem for 4,000 people.
- Innovative technologies for growing Rosa Damascena in space.
- Production of medicines and cosmetics directly on board the station.
The success of the young talents
The team includes 12 students from the First English Language School and the 133rd Secondary School. It is important to note that the project was developed entirely without the help of artificial intelligence. This is another recognition of domestic scientific potential following the success of the Galanthus project in 2025.
Upcoming event
The management of the First English Language School invites the media to a meeting with the students on June 22 (Monday) at 10:30 a.m. in the school's assembly hall, where details about the work on the project and the team's future plans will be presented.
