Restored postal services
As of May 18, 2026, Bulgarian Posts officially resumes the acceptance of outbound shipments to Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. The news was confirmed by the state-owned company's press office.
The measure is part of the gradual normalization of postal services following the complicated situation in the region.
We remind you that in early March, the postal operator was forced to suspend the shipment of parcels to a large number of countries in the Middle East. The reason was closed airspaces and canceled flights following the escalation of tensions and airstrikes in the region.
- Restored destinations: Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Oman.
- Reason for the suspension: Logistic difficulties and air transport security.
