The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warns of uncertainty in flights between the EU and the UAE and provides guidance for Bulgarian citizens in Israel in the event of an escalation of tension.

Air transport between the European Union and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) remains uncertain due to escalating tensions in the Persian Gulf region. According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), European airlines are waiting for risks to subside before resuming their regular routes.

Instructions for Bulgarian citizens in Israel

The MFA urges Bulgarian compatriots currently in Israel to strictly follow the instructions of the Home Front Command. At present, Ben Gurion Airport continues to operate, with flights being carried out primarily by Israeli airlines.

Passengers are advised to monitor the status of their flights in real time via the official websites of Ben Gurion Airport and the respective air carriers.
