Young Bulgarian fashion professionals successfully completed an international training in the Barcelona area, Spain, between July 13 and 18. The initiative was part of the large-scale Fashion Earth Alliance – Vocational Excellence and Enterprise (FEA‑VEE) project, organized by the Bulgarian Fashion Association.
The delegation from Bulgaria included five experts, who were complemented by colleagues sent by the Plovdiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In parallel with the Bulgarian participants, professionals from Sweden, Germany, Greece, and the hosts from Spain also joined the educational program.
During the visit, participants went through an intensive series of professional activities. The program covered specialized seminars, tours of production workshops, an in-depth tour of the UPC Textile Campus, as well as an innovative hackathon and workshops for exchanging expertise.
The key thematic focuses of the event were concentrated on innovative and sustainable approaches in the textile industry. Special emphasis was placed on concepts of circular fashion and digitalization of production processes.
The international initiative serves as an extremely important platform for professional development. It creates opportunities for building international networks, overcoming geographical and cultural barriers, and simultaneously improving the quality of training among young Bulgarian designers.
Experts define such events as critically significant for encouraging the younger generation in the field of high-tech and sustainable production in the fashion industry.
