Varna hosts international conference on e-waste management
The Regional Information Center-Varna took part in a key concluding conference for the EWAsTER project ("Preventing water pollution from e-waste by using it as a resource"). The forum brought together experts, innovators, and representatives from 10 European countries.
The project unites the efforts of countries from Portugal to Bulgaria with a total budget of over 2 million euros, aimed at the sustainable management of electronic waste.

Education as the key to change: The "WEEE Behave" campaign
An important highlight in the implementation of the project was the "WEEE Behave" campaign, aimed at primary school students in the Varna region. Over 400 children participated in interactive workshops, and 128 projects made from recycled materials proved that the future of the planet is in the hands of the youngest generation.
