67 Fires in 24 Hours: One Injured in Kardzhali

In the last 24 hours, 67 fires were registered in the country, with one person injured while trying to extinguish a fire in Kardzhali. Rescue teams carried out 31 rescue operations and assistance activities.

A total of 67 fires were extinguished in the country in the last 24 hours, according to the General Directorate “Fire Safety and Population Protection”.

A 42-year-old woman was injured while trying to put out a fire in a house in Kardzhali. She was taken to the hospital with 1st degree burns on the fingers of her right hand and was discharged for home treatment.

19 fires occurred with material damage, of which eight were in residential buildings. 48 fires were without material damage.

Firefighting teams responded to 100 incident calls. 31 rescue activities and support operations were carried out, including 4 in accidents and 26 for providing technical assistance.

Two false alarms were also registered.
