67 Fires in Bulgaria in 24 Hours: Fire Department Report

The Fire Department in Bulgaria reported 67 fires in the last 24 hours, with no casualties. The teams responded to 87 calls and carried out 16 rescue operations. 4 false alarms were also recorded.

Over the past 24 hours, firefighters in the country have dealt with a total of 67 fires, the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Population Protection" of the Ministry of Interior announced on its website. The fiery element, which raged in various parts of the state, fortunately, did not take human lives and did not cause any casualties.

The actions of the fire teams were focused on controlling the disasters, with direct material damage present in 21 of the registered fires. Six of these fires occurred in residential buildings, which emphasizes the need for increased attention and compliance with fire safety regulations, especially in homes.

Many teams responded to the scene of the incidents, responding to a total of 87 calls. Along with fighting the fire, specialists also performed 16 rescue activities and support operations, demonstrating high professional training and readiness to provide assistance in critical situations.

Unfortunately, the report also indicates the presence of four false calls. These signals, which take up valuable time and resources from the emergency services, remind us of the need for a responsible attitude towards emergency phone numbers and the seriousness of the signals being sent.
