Active 24-hour fire department activity in the country
Over the past 24 hours, teams from the General Directorate for Fire Safety and Population Protection have extinguished a total of 65 fires. Fortunately, there were no deaths or injuries reported in the incidents.
Firefighters responded to a total of 115 distress calls, demonstrating high readiness to deal with various emergency situations.
Distribution of incidents:
- 13 fires with direct material damage: Of these, 7 occurred in residential buildings, 2 in auxiliary structures, and 3 in vehicles.
- 52 fires without material damage: Mainly in dry grass, bushes, and waste.
Rescue operations and technical assistance
In addition to extinguishing fires, firefighters carried out 49 rescue operations. The teams provided assistance during:
- Road accidents and crashes;
- Incidents involving hazardous substances;
- Removal of fallen trees and rocks;
- Technical assistance to the Ministry of Interior and animal rescue.
One false alarm was also recorded. The teams continue their work to ensure the safety of the population.
