A total of 6,474 calls were registered on the single European emergency number 112 over the past 24 hours, reported the National System 112 Directorate at the Ministry of Interior.
It is important to note that it is possible for two or more calls to have been received for a single event or incident.

Other incidents
Over the past 24 hours, four reports of reckless driving and street racing were received, as well as one report regarding illegal migrants. One cross-border incoming call from the Netherlands was also registered concerning a case of domestic violence against a Bulgarian citizen, for which a police team was immediately dispatched.
