Active search operations across the country
As of July 10 inclusive, 69 reports have been received via the Single European Emergency Number 112 in connection with the search for 11-year-old Natalia Asenova. The Varna Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior specifies that information is also being submitted directly to Ministry of Interior structures.
The police emphasize that search operations are continuing actively and without interruption, with every report being carefully analyzed.
What are the results so far?
- Numerous reports have been verified, including one regarding a man spotted in the village of Velichkovo (which proved unfounded).
- The child was last seen on June 30 in the area of the village of Konstantinovo together with Asen Simeonov.
- Currently, there is no evidence that the two have left the country, announced Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev.
Coordinated institutional actions
Specialized teams, experts, and representatives of various state and local structures are participating in the operation. Specialized equipment is being used to survey the territory. We remind you that the BG-Alert system was activated for this case in the regions of Varna, Burgas, and Shumen, which led to an additional flow of information to law enforcement authorities.
