Activity of 112 emergency line for the past 24 hours

The National 112 System Directorate at the Ministry of Interior reported 7008 registered calls over the past 24 hours. A large portion of the reports are related to the dynamic weather conditions in the country.

One of the calls was for cross-border assistance – a report from Sliven regarding a person in danger in Ireland, which was successfully redirected to the local services.

Distribution of major signals:

The storms and rains triggered dozens of calls regarding accidents in Sofia, Plovdiv, Yambol, Sandanski, Petrich, Blagoevgrad, and Kyustendil. The Ministry of Interior clarifies that it is possible for multiple reports to have been received for the same event.
