Incidents over the past 24 hours
A total of 58 fires were recorded in the country over the past 24 hours, reported the General Directorate for Fire Safety and Population Protection (GDFSPP). Unfortunately, there were casualties in one of the incidents.
A serious incident in the village of Krushevo: a 64-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman suffered burns following a house fire.
GDFSPP teams responded to a total of 108 incident reports within 24 hours. The data for fires involving material damage include:
- 8 fires in residential buildings;
- 2 fires in auxiliary or makeshift structures;
- 4 fires in transport vehicles;
- 1 fire in agriculture;
- 1 fire in an outdoor facility.
Additionally, 39 fires without direct material damage were recorded, including ignitions of dry grass and waste. 46 rescue operations were also carried out, including five following road accidents. Four false alarms were also recorded.
