57 Fires in 24 Hours: Incident Data

57 fires were extinguished in Bulgaria in the last 24 hours. Two people were injured in fires in Samokov, Pernik, and Sofia. The fire service responded to 81 calls for incidents, including rescue operations.

Over the past 24 hours, a total of 57 fires were extinguished in the country, and fire department teams responded to 81 signals for incidents, reports the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Population Protection". Two people were injured.

In Samokov, on "Bratya Miladinovi" Street, a fire broke out in a shed with a barbecue, which spread to an agricultural building and two shacks. No one was injured.

In the village of Dolna Dikanya, Pernik region, the town hall was on fire. A 66-year-old man was injured in the fire.

In Sofia, Mladost residential complex, a fire broke out in an apartment, in which a 54-year-old woman was injured.

21 fires were registered with direct material damage, incl. in residential and auxiliary buildings, vehicles, etc. 36 fires were without material damage, mainly in waste and cooking appliances.

23 rescue activities and support operations were carried out, including accidents, technical assistance and animal rescue. One false alarm was registered.
