127 fires in 24 hours: One person injured and dozens of rescue operations

The General Directorate of Fire Safety reported 127 extinguished fires over the last 24 hours. See details about the injured man and the number of rescue operations.

Intensive day for firefighters: 127 fires in the country

Over the past 24 hours, teams from the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Civil Protection" (GDFSCP) have responded to a total of 173 incident reports. As a result of the fires, one person was injured – a 64-year-old man from Isperih, who sustained first-degree burns.

The statistics for July 10, 2026, show a dynamic situation with 23 fires that resulted in direct material damage.

Distribution of incidents:

In addition to fighting the blaze, the teams carried out 40 rescue activities and assistance operations, including 7 interventions in transport accidents. There were also 6 cases of false calls registered.
