50 Fires Extinguished in the Last 24 Hours in Bulgaria

The General Directorate for Fire Safety and Civil Protection (GDPSCP) reported 50 extinguished fires in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours. A total of 101 incident reports were registered, including 17 fires with material damage and 48 rescue operations.

Over the last 24 hours in Bulgaria, 50 fires have been extinguished, the General Directorate for Fire Safety and Civil Protection – Ministry of Interior announced. Firefighting teams responded to 101 calls for incidents.

Of the total number of fires, 17 resulted in material damage, of which five occurred in residential buildings. 33 fires caused no material damage.

48 rescue operations and support operations were carried out, of which two were due to accidents, and 44 – for providing technical assistance.

Also noteworthy are the three false alarms received during the 24-hour period.
