Over the past 24 hours, a total of 32 fires were extinguished in the country, the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population" (GDPSPC) announced on its official website. Firefighting teams responded to a total of 65 incidents on the territory of the country.
One of the fires led to an incident in which a 45-year-old woman was injured. The incident occurred in a basement in the Burgas neighborhood "Bratya Miladinovi".
The data show that 10 of the total registered fires caused direct material damage. These damages occurred in various objects, including residential and industrial buildings, as well as means of transport. On the other hand, 22 fires passed without causing material damage. Of these, four fires occurred in dry grass, forest litter and shrubs, 13 were related to waste, and three - to damage to cooking appliances and chimneys.
Within the past 24 hours, firefighters performed a total of 30 rescue activities and support operations. These operations included assistance in accidents, saving animals, draining objects and removing dangerous objects.
In addition, three false calls were registered in the past 24 hours.
