Fire Department Summary
Over the past 24 hours, the teams of the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Civil Protection" have responded to 180 incident reports, successfully extinguishing 141 fires. Unfortunately, there were two people injured in the incidents.
Statistics show that 23 of the fires resulted in direct material damage.
Distribution of incidents:
- Residential and industrial buildings: 10 fires.
- Vehicles: 4 fires.
- Nature and waste: 69 fires in dry grass and 41 in waste (no material damage).
In addition to firefighting, the services performed 32 rescue activities and technical assistance operations during accidents and incidents involving hazardous substances. Seven false alarms were also registered.
