131 fires in 24 hours: The tally of the country's firefighters

Over the past 24 hours, the country's fire services responded to 131 calls. 73 fires were extinguished, including an incident involving burnt bungalows near Chernomorets.

Fire Department Report: 131 Calls in 24 Hours

Over the past 24 hours, teams from the General Directorate for Fire Safety and Civil Protection (GDFSCP) responded to 131 emergency calls. A total of 73 fires were successfully extinguished across the country.

18 of the fires caused direct material damage, eight of which occurred in residential buildings.

Distribution of Incidents

Fire safety services also carried out 52 rescue operations, including assistance with accidents and the removal of hazardous objects. Fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries in any of the incidents. Six false alarms were also recorded.

Incident near Chernomorets

Among the more significant incidents on Saturday was a fire near the beach strip by Chernomorets, during which two bungalows burned down. At the time of the fire, the tourists were at the beach, and there was no danger to their lives.
