113 Years Since the Capture of the Adrianople Fortress and Thrace Day in Varna

The anniversary of the capture of the Adrianople Fortress and Thrace Day were marked in Varna. Servicemen and citizens honored the memory of the fallen soldiers.

113 years since the capture of the Adrianople Fortress during the Balkan War and Thrace Day were celebrated in Varna.

The Representative Brass Band of the Navy and an honor guard of servicemen participated in the ritual of laying wreaths and flowers in front of the Portal-Monument of the 8th Primorsky Infantry Regiment. Priests from the Varna and Veliko Tarnovo Metropolis served a requiem prayer in memory of the fallen Primors.

The Commander of the Navy, Rear Admiral Kiril Mihailov, received the ranks of the honor guard, after which the ranks marched in a solemn march in front of the monument. Dozens of Varna residents and official guests laid wreaths and flowers at the monument to the fallen Primors.
