World-famous Bulgarian actor arrives in Burgas to train young talents in the art of the musical

Internationally acclaimed Bulgarian actor Dimitar Marinov, the first Bulgarian to step on the Oscars stage and a long-time Broadway participant, arrives in Burgas at the invitation of Mayor Dimitar Nikolov. Marinov will hold a free two-day musical workshop titled "TOWARDS BROADWAY" in the chamber hall of the Adriana Budevska Drama Theater on June 20 and 21. The participation is intended for young people between 14 and 30 years old who are interested in the performing arts and dream of the big stage.

Over the course of two days, the participants will become acquainted with the essence of the musical and the specific techniques for mastering it, they will understand how a dramatic actor is "remodeled" towards the musical genre, they will discover how to achieve perfect theatrical and musical improvisation and how to provoke the people around them. Together with Dimitar Marinov, they will immerse themselves in the atmosphere of some of the biggest stages in the world and learn the most valuable lesson for any actor - how not to be one of them, but THE ONE among them.

Dimitar Marinov's appearances in prestigious productions in New York have cemented his place among the elite of musical theater. It is this invaluable experience that he will pass on to the young talents in Burgas. This first workshop in the city is also related to Marinov's desire to stage a musical in Burgas, which will support the city's candidacy for "European Capital of Culture".
